July 2008

July – Bring out the red, white and blue it’s time to celebrate. In this month’s issue of Cape May Magazine, we are celebrating the rededication of the Washington Street Mall. After months of construction The Mall renovation is finally finished. Vicky Samselski’s article, The Mall. How Things Get Done the Cape May Way is an insightful look on how this project came about both the first rime and the second time around. Pianist-composer and Cape May Point resident Jane Sbarra is the subject of this month’s The Islander.

Also in this month’s issue we will be paying a special tribute to The Mainstay Bed & Breakfast in Bill Godfrey’s humorous Jackson’s Mainstay. The saga of tea and strumpets.
