Cape May Magazine welcomes summer with a July issue packed with stories that have a little something for everyone. For you lighthouse lovers, “Passport to the Past” takes the reader on a seven-hour cruise of the lighthouses of the Delaware Bay and each one has a story more interesting than the other. Mark Allen writes for the Nature Center of Cape May about their efforts and those of other community organizations to save the turtles. Emil Salvini, the creator and host of PBS- NJTV’s popular television series, Tales of the Jersey Shore and author of Historic Cape May: The Summer City by the Sea, joined the Cape May Magazine freelance team this month to share a tale of Cape May’s original bad boy – Mr. Peter Boyton. Accused of arson and sent packing on a train out of town, Mr. Boyton went on to have a colorful career.
